Welcome to IndiPiano.com, a website offering free online music and audio tools, learning and practice resources, and educational articles for piano and music learners and creators. The tools include MIDI recording, editing and visualizer tools, sheet music tools, audio recording and editing tools, audio utilities and converters, practice tools, music theory tools, virtual instruments and notation converters. These Terms and Conditions set the rules for using the website. Please read them together with the Privacy Policy and the Disclaimer.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using IndiPiano.com, you agree to follow these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website. IndiPiano.com is created and maintained by Vikas Masurkar, a software professional based in Mumbai, India.

2. Free and Open-Access Platform

The tools, resources and articles on IndiPiano.com are free to use. No registration, login, subscription or payment is required to use them. I may show advertisements and accept voluntary donations to cover running costs (see Section 11). Free access does not mean the content or code is open source.

3. Permitted Use

You may use the tools, and read, share and reference the articles and learning resources, for personal, educational and practice purposes. When you share or quote my content, please link back to the original page. You may not claim my content as your own.

4. Prohibited Use

When using this website, you agree not to:

• Use the website for any illegal, harmful, abusive or unethical purpose.
• Copy, scrape, resell or redistribute the tools, source code, MIDI files or written content without my prior written permission.
• Attempt to hack, overload, disrupt or reverse engineer the website or its tools, or bypass any technical protection.
• Upload, process or share files that you do not have the right to use, or that infringe anyone else’s rights.
• Use automated systems, bots or scripts to access the website in a way that harms its performance.
• Present the website, its tools or its content as your own work or as endorsed by me.

5. Your Files and Content

Most tools process your audio, video, MIDI and notation files directly in your browser, and your files are not uploaded to my servers. You remain the owner of your files and of the output you create. You are responsible for making sure you have the right to use the files you open and for how you use or share the results. Please keep a backup of your originals. 6. Intellectual Property and Source Code

The website’s original code, logic, designs, tools, articles, learning resources and other written content and materials are the intellectual property of Vikas Masurkar and are protected by copyright, except for third-party components that remain under their own licenses. The source code is proprietary and is not open source. Using the free tools does not give you any right to copy, modify, redistribute or commercially use the code or the way the tools are implemented. All rights are reserved.

Any reuse of the code, tool implementation or protected content requires my prior written permission. Please contact me to request it.

7. Use of Audio and Video Recordings

You may use my audio and video recordings as supporting content in your own videos, provided you give clear credit as “Vikas Masurkar | IndiPiano.com” with a link to https://indipiano.com. You may not sell or redistribute the recordings on their own, and you may not use them in a misleading way. All other materials on this website remain protected.

8. MIDI Files and Arrangements

The piano arrangements, MIDI files and tutorials on this website are my own personal arrangements. Some MIDI files may be offered for purchase through the contact details given on the website. Unless stated otherwise, a MIDI file you obtain from me is licensed to you for your personal learning, practice and performance only. You may not resell, share, upload or redistribute it, or use it commercially, without my written permission. Purchases are arranged directly with me, and prices, delivery and any refunds are agreed at the time of purchase.

9. Songs and Third-Party Material

Songs, compositions, lyrics, trademarks and brand names mentioned on this website belong to their respective owners. IndiPiano is not affiliated with or endorsed by any artist, composer, publisher, record label or film studio. My arrangements are created for learning and practice and are not official sheet music. Where material is based on or inspired by someone else’s work, it is credited in the description. You are responsible for obtaining any licence you need before using songs or arrangements commercially.

10. Copyright Infringement and Takedown Requests

I respect the rights of creators. If you believe any content on this website infringes your copyright, please contact me with the page address, a description of the material and proof of ownership. I will review your request and promptly remove content where appropriate.

11. Advertising and Donations

This website may display advertisements, including ads served by Google AdSense. Ads are provided by third parties, and I do not control their content or endorse the products or services advertised. Information about advertising cookies and your choices is available in the Privacy Policy.

Donations are voluntary and support the running and improvement of the website. They are not payment for a product, and they do not give donors any special rights, services or guarantees.
