IndiPiano.com offers free online music and audio tools, and learning and practice resources, for piano and music learners and creators. These include MIDI recording, editing and visualizer tools, sheet music tools, audio recording and editing tools, audio utilities and converters, practice tools such as a metronome, tuner and ear training, music theory tools, virtual instruments and notation converters. 1. General Information

All music and audio tools, MIDI and sheet music tools, recording and editing tools, visualizers, utilities, practice tools, music theory tools, articles and learning resources on this website are provided for educational, practice and personal use only. They are not professional music training, certification or advice. I am a casual musician and software developer, not a certified music teacher. For structured learning, please work with a qualified teacher.

I make reasonable efforts to keep the information accurate and up to date, but I give no warranty of any kind, express or implied, about the completeness, reliability or suitability of the content.

2. Accuracy of Tools and Results

Tools such as the chord detector, key and BPM detector, tuner, metronome, MIDI to sheet music converter and notation converters use digital signal processing (DSP) and statistical data analysis to process audio and other files. Their results are calculated estimates, not exact measurements, and can vary with your device, microphone, file quality, the complexity of the music and your browser.

• Detected chords, keys, tempos and time signatures may contain errors, especially with dense, noisy or unusual music.
• Converted notation and sheet music may need manual correction before you rely on it for performance or publishing.
• Audio and MIDI output depends on the sounds and the device you use for playback.

Please review all results yourself. I do not guarantee that any tool is error-free, uninterrupted or fit for a particular purpose.

3. Your Files and Content

Most tools process your files directly in your browser, and your files are not uploaded to my servers. You are responsible for having the right to use any audio, video, MIDI or notation file you open in the tools, and for how you use the output. Please keep a backup of your original files. I am not responsible for any loss of data or files.

4. Copyright and Source Code Ownership

IndiPiano.com is free to use, but it is not open source. Using the free tools does not give you permission to copy, redistribute or resell the website code. The original code, logic, designs and written content belong to Vikas Masurkar, except for third-party components that remain under their own licenses.

Reusing or republishing the implementation, source code, MIDI files or written content requires my prior written permission. Normal use of the tools is covered by the Terms and Conditions.

5. Songs, Arrangements and Third-Party Material

Songs, compositions, lyrics, trademarks and brand names mentioned on this website belong to their respective owners. IndiPiano is not affiliated with or endorsed by any artist, composer, publisher, record label or film studio.

The piano covers, MIDI arrangements and tutorials published here are my own personal arrangements, created for learning and practice. Where an arrangement, notation, chord chart or other material is based on or inspired by someone else, it is credited in the description. These arrangements are not official sheet music and do not replace licensed publications.

6. Copyright Infringement and Takedown Requests

I respect the rights of creators. If you believe any content on this website infringes your copyright, please contact me with the page address, a description of the material and proof of ownership. I will review the request and remove content promptly where appropriate.

7. Use of Audio and Video

You may use my audio and video recordings as supporting content in your own videos, provided you give clear credit as “Vikas Masurkar | IndiPiano.com” with a link to https://indipiano.com. All other materials on this website are the intellectual property of IndiPiano and are protected. All rights are reserved.

8. Personal and Non-Commercial Use

Website content may be used for personal, non-commercial purposes only. The only exception is the audio and video described in Section 7.

Donations are voluntary. They support the upkeep of the website and do not give donors any special rights, services or guarantees.
