Welcome to IndiPiano

Hi, I’m Vikas Masurkar, a software professional from India.

IndiPiano is a free home for music and audio tools, and learning and practice resources, for musicians of every level. I started learning piano in 2021 and later explored guitar and other instruments. Along the way, I faced familiar challenges: understanding notations, finding chords, working with MIDI and sheet music, and finding useful tools for everyday practice.

Where It All Started

Like many people exploring music as a hobby, I wanted useful tools without expensive software, complicated setups or spending more time configuring tools than practising.

With my software background, I began building small tools to help with my own practice. Friends and classmates started using them too, and their feedback helped shape what became IndiPiano.
